FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long have you been a photographer?
I started in 2011. What began as a small creative project grew into my life’s passion. Since then, I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings in Denmark and abroad, and each one taught me something about people, emotion, and light. Photography became more than work; it became a way to tell real stories.
Do you offer makeup and hair services?
Yes, I do. In addition to photography, I also offer professional makeup and hair styling for brides. This allows me to create a cohesive and timeless look that photographs beautifully. Having everything done by one person makes the morning calm and seamless, and it ensures that your makeup and hairstyle complement the light, the dress, and the overall aesthetic of the day.
How would you describe your style?
My style is natural, elegant, and emotional. I blend documentary and editorial approaches, capturing moments as they happen and creating soft, effortless portraits. I focus on genuine connection rather than staged poses, so every image tells a truthful, timeless story.
What inspires your work?
People inspire me most: the small gestures, a laugh, a shared look, the quiet before the ceremony. I also draw inspiration from light, architecture, nature, art, cinema, and design. Sunlight through a veil, shadows on a wall, or reflections on water. Those details create atmosphere and composition. I look for beauty in simplicity.
Do you like destination weddings?
Absolutely. I’m based in Denmark but love to travel across Europe and beyond. Destination weddings bring unique stories, cultures, and locations, and traveling adds creativity and inspiration to my work. I plan carefully to arrive early and capture the best light.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes, and I highly recommend them. Engagement sessions let couples get used to working with me, build trust, and capture relaxed portraits often used for invitations or keepsakes. They also help ease nerves on the wedding day.
What equipment do you use?
I use professional full-frame cameras and prime lenses to capture sharp details and natural colors in all lighting conditions, and I always carry backups. Equipment matters, but sensitivity to emotion and attention to storytelling matter more. The camera is a tool to tell the story.
Can we meet before the wedding?
Yes, I encourage meeting in person or online. We’ll discuss your vision, expectations, schedule, and what moments matter most. Meeting beforehand builds trust and helps couples feel more relaxed on the day.
What moments do you love the most?
I love quiet, intimate moments, a nervous breath before the ceremony, a hand squeeze when no one’s watching, the hug after vows, as well as big emotional moments like vows and the first dance. Both small gestures and grand moments tell the day’s story.
How do you prepare for a wedding day?
I plan carefully: scout locations, check light, organize equipment and backups, and review the schedule with couples and planners. Preparation helps me stay present and focused on capturing emotion rather than logistics.
Do you help with photo timelines?
Yes, I guide couples on the best times for portraits and group shots and create realistic schedules that fit the day. Good planning ensures photos happen naturally and without stress, so couples can enjoy the day.
Do you photograph large weddings?
Yes, I prioritize important moments and people, and work efficiently to capture candid shots and key events. Large weddings require focus, organization, and awareness of timing and light changes.
Do you photograph night events?
Yes, I enjoy evening photography. I use ambient light, natural light when possible, and creative techniques to capture dancing, speeches, and emotional moments. Night photos can be dramatic, fun, and full of life.
Do you photograph families and guests?
Yes. I capture family portraits, group shots, and candid guest moments. Those photos are as important as the couple’s portraits. Guests’ emotions and interactions tell a large part of the wedding story.
Do you photograph same-sex weddings?
Absolutely. I photograph love, not labels. Every couple deserves equal care and attention, and I capture emotion, connection, and celebration just the same.
Do you offer second photographers?
Yes, for large or multi-location weddings, I provide a second photographer to capture alternative angles and moments I might miss, ensuring every detail and emotion is documented.
How do you handle weather or conditions?
I stay flexible and creative. Rain, wind, or low light can create beautiful, unexpected images. I scout alternatives, plan for changing light, and embrace challenges as part of the story. Some of my favorite shots have come from surprising conditions.
What is your approach to editing?
Clean, natural, and timeless. I avoid trendy filters and heavy effects, focusing instead on light, color balance, and soft contrast. My goal is to create photos that feel true to the moment and that couples will love now and decades from now.
How many photos do couples receive and when?
It depends on the wedding, but I always deliver a complete story of the day with carefully selected images. I prioritize quality over quantity; every image is edited to match my signature style and to reflect the full range of emotions and moments. Most weddings are ready within two to four weeks. I edit each photo carefully, checking details, color, and light, then deliver the final collection in a private online gallery where couples can view, download, share, or order prints.
Why should couples choose you?
Because I care about the whole experience as much as the outcome. I want couples to feel calm and present. I capture emotion and connection, not just pretty pictures. I aim to deliver honest, elegant, and lively photos that tell your story. My advice is to choose someone you connect with personally and whose style you love. Trust matters as much as skill. Your photographer will be with you all day, so feeling comfortable ensures the most authentic photos.
