Sla Karvounis Photography – Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms
1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern all photography services provided by Sla Karvounis Photography (“we,” “us,” “our”) through slakarvounis.com or through any direct booking method.
1.2 By booking any service, clients (“you,” “your”) agree to follow these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 We may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect once published on our website.
2. Services and Fees
2.1 All pricing is provided in advance and depends on the selected photography package.
2.2 A non refundable booking retainer is required to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid before the event or session, following the payment schedule in your agreement.
2.3 Packages may include:
a) Wedding Photography
b) Engagement Sessions
c) Lifestyle Portraits
d) Travel Photography
e) Add ons such as albums, prints, or extra hours
2.4 Full package details are provided during booking.
3. Booking Process
3.1 To secure a date, clients must:
– Complete the booking form
– Pay the required retainer
– Confirm all requested details about the event or session
3.2 Dates are reserved only after the retainer is paid.
3.3 We may decline bookings that fall outside our calendar availability or creative scope.
4. Client Responsibilities
4.1 You must provide accurate event or session details, including addresses, schedules, and contacts.
4.2 Any required permissions for photography at private venues or restricted areas must be arranged by you.
4.3 We are not responsible for missed shots caused by late arrivals, venue restrictions, or disruptions outside our control.
5. Photography Process
5.1 We deliver photography services using our artistic judgment and working style.
5.2 Editing includes colour correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, and basic retouching. Advanced retouching can be added for an extra fee.
5.3 Delivery times vary by package, though most galleries are delivered within 4 to 8 weeks.
5.4 Raw files are not included in any package.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1 Booking retainers are non refundable.
6.2 If you cancel your booking:
– More than 60 days before the event: 50% refund of any additional payments
– 30 to 60 days before the event: 25% refund of any additional payments
– Less than 30 days before the event: No refund
6.3 If we must cancel due to illness or emergency, we will attempt to arrange a replacement photographer or provide a full refund of all payments made.
6.4 Rescheduling depends on availability and may require a new retainer.
7. Image Delivery and Usage
7.1 Images are delivered through an online gallery where you can download files in high resolution.
7.2 You receive personal usage rights for the delivered images.
7.3 Commercial use requires written consent and may involve an additional fee.
7.4 We retain the copyright to all images produced.
7.5 We may use selected images for portfolio work, social media, or marketing unless you request otherwise in writing before the event or session.
8. Liability Limitations
8.1 We are not liable for loss, damage, or delays caused by unforeseen events such as weather issues, venue restrictions, equipment failure, or emergencies.
8.2 Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for services.
8.3 We are not responsible for missed moments due to factors outside our control.
9. Travel and Extra Costs
9.1 Travel fees may apply for events or sessions outside the main service area.
9.2 Accommodation costs may apply for locations that require overnight stays.
9.3 These costs will be communicated in advance.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
10.1 We protect client data according to applicable European data protection rules.
10.2 Your personal information is used only for communication, booking, and delivery purposes.
10.3 We do not share client data with third parties except when required for service delivery, such as album printing or gallery hosting.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and Conditions follow the laws of Greece.
11.2 Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Greece.
